North Mamuju, September 28, 2015 - PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk, a leading private infrastructure investor and operator entity in Indonesia, continues to realize the commitment to improve the best services for consumers and stakeholders. Nusantara Infrastructure, established since 2006, has managed to build and develop the five business pillars: toll road sector (Jakarta and Makassar), port sector, water management sector, renewable energy sector, and telecommunication tower sector. Through the pillars, Nusantara Infrastructure serves more than 88 million customers, 500,000 households, 170 plants, and 210 vessels in the business of toll road, water, ports, energy, and telecommunication towers.
 
As the latest effort to improve its service is realized through its strategic business unit: PT Energi Infranusantara that will make a partnertship with SN Power (company of Norway) and Aboitiz Power (company of Philippines) to carry out the construction of hydropower with capacity of 127 MW in North Mamuju. This project is fully supported by the Regent of North Mamuju, Ir. H. Agus Ambo Djiwa, MP, who has extended the principle license to PT Energi Infranusantara in August 2015.

SN Power is a subsidiary of a company owned by the Norwegian government: Statkraft and Norfund, engaged in building and operating hydropower. SN Power's mission is to become a leading hydropower company in the energy sector in developing countries. SN Power has acquired and developing hydropower projects in Africa, Central America, and Southeast Asia. Lariang hydropower development is one of its initial projects in Indonesia.
 
Aboitiz Power is the holding company for the Aboitiz Group invests in electricity generation, distribution, retail, and electrical services. It has multiple assets of hydroelectrical, geothermal and non-renewable power plants, in various regions of Philippines.
 
Ruswin Nazsir, President Director of PT Energi Infranusantara said that to realize this Lariang hydropower development plan, the Company together with SN Power and Aboitiz Power today held a meeting and a signatory of the MoA with Ir. H. Agus Ambo Djiwa, MP, Regent of North Mamuju, witnessed by Ole Schanke Eikum, Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of Norway.
 
"PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk through representatives of PT Energi Infranusantara committed to build infrastructure to meet the electric needs for the people of North Mamuju and today we have a meeting and the socialization of our plan. We believe that the development and procurement of electricity will be the key to economic improvement in North Mamuju, with an area of ​​3043.75 km2 and population of 215 345 inhabitants. Lariang hydroelectric project is expected to cost around US $ 376 million. It will begin with the implementation stages that include Hydrology, Topography, Geological Survey and its social impact.
