Strategic Initiative Nusantara Infrastructure Group: Acquisition of 35% Shares in The Trans-Java Toll Road

The signing of Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) was conducted by President Director of Margautama Nusantara, Danni Hasan, Commissioner of Metro Pacific Tollways Indonesia Services, Rogelio L. Singson, Director of Metro Pacific Tollways Indonesia Services, Francis Emanuel D. Rojas, Representative of Warrington Investment, Mark Lim Tze Han, President Director of Jasa Marga, Subakti Syukur, President Director of Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Rudi Kurniadi and Chairman of Koperasi Konsumen Karyawan Jalin Margasejahtera (KKJM), Bayu Nurbaya.
Danni Hasan, President Director of Margautama Nusantara stated, “The Trans-Java Toll Road is one of Indonesia’s strategic toll roads, connecting major cities on Java Island, while also playing a crucial role as an accelerator for the distribution of goods and services to push regional economic growth. Most importantly, this corporate action reflects the Company’s commitment to support the Government’s role in creating sustainable infrastructure.”
This corporate action represents a concrete manifestation and proof of the strong synergy between the government and private sector, in line with the spirit of Indonesia Incorporated to support national infrastructure development while delivering positive impacts by enhancing accessibility, driving economic growth, and improving broader population quality of life.
Furthermore, Danni stated that this acquisition is a strategic initiative to strengthen long-term business growth and improve competitiveness within the industry. “This success is certainly a result of the strong collaboration with strategic partners who support the Company’s strategic movement, so, we extend our deepest gratitude to all partners for their trust and commitment to continuously create greater added value in the future.”
The Trans-Java Toll Road operated by JTT spans 676 kilometers long. It comprises 13 sections, each playing essential roles, including improving connectivity on Java Island, facilitating community mobility, driving the national economic growth and the development of strategic regions, and facilitating the distribution of goods and services (logistics).
