PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk Reached Rp 111.74 billion of 3rd Quarter 2013 Net Income

Jakarta, October 31, 2013 - PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk (META), integrated private infrastructure company, during the period January-September 2013 was able to record a net profit of Rp 111.74 billion, an increase of 310% compared to the same period in 2012 of Rp 27.25 billion. The surge in net profit was mainly due to the gain on sale of shares in a subsidiary company, PT Margautama Nusantara (MUN) of Rp 114 billion and the increasing revenue of 10.36% from Rp 199.56 billion to Rp 220.24 billion. In that period, Nusantara Infrastructure’s assets increased from Rp 1.98 trillion to Rp 2.49 trillion.
 


General Manager of Corporate Affairs Nusantara Infrastructure Deden Rochmawati said that the positive condition of national economy is one of the factors driving the growth of the Company's performance. This was demonstrated by an increase in vehicle traffic at various toll lanes managed by the Company.
 
To strengthen the company's business, META has a strategic alliance in 2013 with Capital Advisors Patners Asia Pte Ltd (CapAsia), as a strategic investor in the toll road business. CapAsia as a private equity investment fund management which focus on the infrastructure sector in South East Asia was invited to take 25% of new shares and treasury shares have been issued in the MUN.
