Jakarta, May 7, 2014 - PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk (Nusantara Infrastructure) showed a brilliant performance: in the first quarter of 2014, NI recorded a net profit of Rp 27.1 billion. That number increased by 296.8% compared to the same period of 2013 as Rp 6.83 billion.
 
Nusantara Infrastructure’s Revenue and Sales also increased significantly to 52%. In the first three months of 2014, Nusantara Infrastructure’s revenues reached Rp 104 billion. While in the same period in 2013, its income reached Rp 68.78 billion.
 
Director of Nusantara Infrastructure Danni Hasan explained that the increase in revenue, sales, and net profit is driven by NI's business growing consistently especially in toll roads management sector, solid team, and subsidiaries’ contributions. The increasing of toll rates also have a significant effect on NI’s revenues and sales, along with the inclusion of revenue ranging from sales of water in its subsidiary company.
 
"This high income achieving is a very good start and positive for the Company in this dynamic year. We are optimistic that this growth performance consistently will make a positive contribution to the company and provide maximum benefit for investors, shareholders, and all stakeholders, "said Danni, in Jakarta, Wednesday (7/5).
 
In the first quarter of this year, Nusantara Infrastructure entered the telecommunication tower management sector by acquiring a majority stake of PT Tara Cell Intrabuana through its subsidiary, PT Telekom Infranusantara who took Providence Equity, which focuses on the field of Telco. This added NI's assets that recorded in the first quarter of 2014 as Rp 3.3 trillion, from Rp 2.57 trillion at end of 2013.
 
General Manager of Corporate Affairs of Nusantara Infrastructure Deden Rochmawaty said, "We are grateful that global and multinational investors have big trust in us. In addition to proving that our Good Corporate Governance is running well, it also shows that the infrastructure business has very good prospects."
 
The Consistency of Nusantara Infrastructure’s Performance
Performance in the first quarter of 2014 continues the Nusantara Infrastructure’s positive growth in the last three years. Revenue achievement over the last three years grew 126.98%, from Rp 187.618 billion in 2010 to Rp 425.861 billion in 2013 (see table below).
