Launching First Independent Power Producer (IPP) Biomass in West Kalimantan

On September 24, 2018, NI through its subsidiaries in energy sector, EI, launched the 15 MW Biomass Power Plan (PLTBm) at Siantan in Mempawah, Pontianak, West Kalimantan. The event was inaugurated by the Minister of National Development Planning and witnessed by all the governmental ranks of West Kalimantan, such as the Governor of West Kalimantan, the Regent of Mempawah, the representatives of the National Electricity Company (PLN) of West Kalimantan, and the members of Regional Leader’s Coordination Forum (Forkorpimda) of West Kalimantan.
