President Director of PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk, Ramdani Basri stated, “The Nusantara Peduli Stunting program is part of NI Group’s commitment to supporting sustainable development. We hope this program will make a real impact in reducing the stunting rate in this area. We believe that health and well-being is the best investment for Indonesia’s future generations.
Following the success of community development, “Kampung Bersih Nusantara” at Pannampu Village, Tallo District, Makassar, the company together with the Makassar Government, Hermina Hospital, and UIN Alauddin Makassar has launched a stunting reduction program in the same area. This program aims to provide daily nutritional support for children identified as stunted and to supply vitamins for children and pregnant women facing Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) in Tallo District. In this collaboration, Nusantara Infrastructure Group is responsible for delivering food and vitamin supplies, while Hermina Hospital will offer free health consultations and examinations by pediatric and obstetric specialists. Additionally, UIN Alauddin Makassar will educate pregnant women and the community on practices for clean and healthy living (PHBS).
Ramdani added, “We understand that the issue of stunting cannot be resolved independently, so we need to collaborate with various parties, including the government, hospitals, universities, the local community, and the media. Through this collaboration, we aim to provide a comprehensive solution that includes health education, nutritional monitoring, and necessary medical intervention”.
This program is expected to make a significant impact in reducing stunting rates in Makassar, particularly in Tallo District. “We hope that this initiative not only benefits the affected children and families but also inspires others to contribute to efforts aimed at creating a healthier and more prosperous future generation,” concluded Ramdani.
