Ridwan Irawan, President Director of PT Potum Mundi Infranusantara, said, "This credit facility is expected to support the development of strategic projects of POTUM and its subsidiaries and strengthen the Company's financial stability. We also hope that this financing support will positively impact operational activities by increasing the asset value and value of the Company and its subsidiaries."
Currently, POTUM provides clean water to support the needs of industrial areas and Regional Drinking Water Companies (PDAM) through its subsidiaries, SCTK, which has a capacity of 350 litres/second and DCC, 200 litres/second.
In addition, the Company also opens opportunities and potential for distributing clean water to household customers, offices, social facilities, and other customers. It supports environmental conservation so that clean water needs can be fulfilled without taking water from the ground.
Ridwan added that Indonesia's water industry is still decentralised, with abundant water sources but not evenly distributed in various regions. "The development potential is still huge in SCTK Serang and DCC Medan itself. Next year, we hope that new connection projects can be implemented. We are also evaluating various project developments in other cities to supply industrial and residential needs."
In 2023, POTUM budgeted capital expenditure (CAPEX) of IDR 40 billion to develop the water business. Next year, POTUM will carry out several strategic steps to boost the Company's profits. "Going forward, we will push again so that the company's performance continues to be positive; various efforts have been prepared to support business expansion."
