Jakarta, October 12, 2023 - PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk, through its majority-owned subsidiary, PT Jakarta Metro Expressway (JKTMetro), has signed the Cikunir-Ulujami JORR Elevated Toll Road Concession Agreement (PPJT) with the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) of the Ministry of PUPR on 11 October 2023. The PPJT signing was signed by Danni Hasan, President Director of JKTMetro and Miftachul Munir as Head of BPJT, which was also witnessed by the Business Director of PT Penjaminan Infrastruktur Indonesia (PII), Secretary of BPJT, Head of Toll Road Investment Division, and JKTMetro Board of Directors.

With the signing of the PPJT, JKTMetro officially became the concessionaire of the Cikunir-Ulujami JORR Elevated Toll Road after passing the procurement or auction process, and the toll road project is ready to be built to connect the Jati Asih area (Bekasi area) with Ulujami (South Jakarta area) along approximately 21.6 km.

In his remarks at the PPJT signing yesterday, Danni Hasan said, "The construction of the Cikunir-Ulujami Toll Road is expected to reduce traffic congestion that occurs on the existing Jakarta Outer Ring Road 1 (JORR-1) Toll Road, as well as reduce the average travel time of existing JORR-1 users by increasing capacity and providing an alternative long-distance route for road users travelling to and from Soekarno Hatta Airport".

JKTMetro is a business entity explicitly established for toll road concession by a consortium consisting of PT Marga Metro Nusantara (MMN) which is a subsidiary of PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk with a majority shareholding of 85%, PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI) with a shareholding of 10% and PT Acset Indonusa Tbk (ACST) with 5%. The JORR Elevated project has an investment value of approximately Rp21.3 trillion with a concession period of 45 years, including the construction period.

Ramdani Basri, President Director of PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk, said, "We warmly welcome the decision of BPJT, which has entrusted us and other consortium members to be able to support the government in encouraging sustainable infrastructure development through the strategic project of one of the most congested toll roads in Jakarta today. We hope this project can provide favorable prospects for the subsidiary".

In the implementation process, JKTMetro will always uphold the values of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) by following the regulations, policies and procedures following the provisions in the PPJT, laws and regulations and applicable laws, including fulfilling all criteria and requirements for project development accompanied by careful environmental impact analysis.
