Net Profit of Nusantara Infrastructure Increase 88.7% to Rp 152.2 Billion in 2014
Telecommunications business, toll road, and clean water sectors contribute significantly to the performance of Nusantara Infrastructure in 2014.

PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk (stock code: META), the entity investor and leading private infrastructure operator in Indonesia, earned net profit of Rp 152.22 billion, increased by 88.71% compared to 2013 figure of Rp 80.65 billion. Nusantara Infrastructure’s operating income increased from Rp 128.47 billion to Rp 202.41 billion. The increase was driven by an increase in revenue of up to 21.71% from Rp 425.88 billion in 2013 to Rp 518.37 billion in 2014. The company's assets increased by 58%, to Rp 4.07 trillion.
Director of Nusantara Infrastructure Danni Hasan said that Nusantara Infrastructure management has successfully continued positive growth momentum in the midst of very tight economic challenges during 2014. The business development strategy through mergers and acquisitions has proved to be very significant for the improvement of the company's performance.
"As part of Nusantara Infrastructure’s vision to become a leading infrastructure company in Indonesia, we make a commitment to continue to grow and strengthen the company's business fundamentals. The performance improvement and contribution of the business units is proof that the strategy we did was on the right track," said Danni on Tuesday (31/3).
In 2014, a number of business units of Nusantara Infrastructure experiencing great growth. PT Komet Infra Nusantara (KIN), which is the newest business unit of Nusantara Infrastructure, especially in the telecommunications sector, achieved outstanding performance with total revenue of Rp 133.2 billion. Currently KIN has more than 600 towers, mainly in Sumatra and Central Java.
In toll road business, through PT Margautama Nusantara (MUN), Nusantara Infrastructure obtained revenue of Rp 341.5 billion. While in the water supply business recorded an increase in net profit more than quadrupled.
General Manager Corporate Affairs of Nusantara Infrastructure Deden Rochmawaty added, "We will continue to maintain this positive growth momentum to increase the value of the company. Nusantara Infrastructure is optimistic that the company's business fundamentals will continue to strengthen in the long term, along with the infrastructure business potential is still wide open."
