PT PORTCO INFRANUSANTARA (PORTCO)
Established in 2011, Portco acquired its Port Business Entity license in the same year. The Ministerial Decree was issued by the Ministry of Transportation which allowed this Company’s subsidiary to embark on port management services through a Private Public Partnership (PPP) and Business to Business (B2B) scheme. In 2012, Portco made strides into further expanding its business through the purchase of shares of PT Intisentosa Alambahtera (ISAB) partnering with Louis Dreyfus Commodities (HK) Holding Limited.
The port sector is greatly important to support activities in the logistics sector. The higher trade trac will increase the role of ports as one of the central points in the goods delivery. In such a situation, the port function will be even greater. The flow of goods among regions and among countries will be more frequent, thus providing opportunities for the Company’s business prospects, especially in the port sector.
