Socialization of the Non-Cash National Movement (GNNT)

The electronic money payment system (UNIK) simultaneously began in October 2017. In order to support the Non-Cash National Movement (GNNT), Management of BSD and Makassar Toll participate in a series of coordination meetings held by Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) and Bank Indonesia. One of the activities is Forum Group Discussion (FGD) held by BPJT on 14-15 August 2017 at Hotel Grand Inna Kuta, Bali. The FGD used to create communication strategy in socializing the electronic money payment system.
 
One of the sessions in the meeting is a sharing session of communication strategy by each toll road business entities (BUJT), and brainstorming with all participants.  Management of BSD and Makassar Toll Road has also run several programs to inform the public about the existence of UNIK payment system, such as campaign through social media and the installation of billboards and banners in toll areas. Starting on 17 August 2017, the Makassar team has also sales e-toll at four toll gates, Parangloe, Cambaya, Talamanrea, and Kalukubodoa collaboration with BRI and Mandiri Bank, until October 2017.
 
On the other hand, the riders are crossing the BSD and Makassar Toll also given a flyer about implementation of UNIK to informed toll road user. In addition, to encourage toll road users to switch to e-toll, management of BSD and Makassar Toll gave 10% discount rate for non-cash transactions (electronic money) applicable at all toll gates. For BSD tolls, tariff discounts are valid from 28 August – 3 September, 2017. While tariff discounts are valid in Makassar Toll from 4 September - 10 September 2017.
