The addition of the Pondok Aren-Serpong Toll Road Scope is a strategic part of efforts to improve the service and safety of the road, with a focus on protecting riders from the risk of flooding at KM 8 and improving safety factors, especially when riders head towards the Pamulang Exit Ramp and towards AEON Mall at KM 10. Additionally, BSD Toll Management also widened the 776-meter Pamulang Exit Toll Arterial Road which has been fully completed this year and is expected to provide benefits to the people of South Tangerang City.

The project, which has been running for 20 months, has passed various important stages including Provisional Hand Over (PHO), Function Worthy Test (ULF) and handover of leger document updates. On September 27, 2023, three teams were divided to complete the PHO stage of the project. Team A was tasked with inspecting the structure and pavement. While Team B served as an administrative and general inspection, and Team C acted as an inspection of facilities, infrastructure and operations that actively participated in improving the results of work in the field.
