Jakarta Globe, 04/12/2011
St. Moritz Penthouses and Residences in Puri Indah, West Jakarta, a mega-project developed by Lippo Karawaci, has been named the Best Condo Development in Indonesia by the publisher Ensign Media.
Ensign’s flagship publication, Property Report South East Asia, is a prominent luxury real estate magazine for wealthy investors and developers in Southeast Asia.
“We were glad to receive the award for the Best Condo Development in Indonesia, because this prestigious event is the ‘creme de la creme’ of the region’s residential real estate industry. This shows the mega-project St. Moritz has received international recognition,” said Michael Riady, CEO of the St. Moritz and Lippo Shopping Malls Group.
The award was announced in Singapore’s Fort Canning Hotel on Wednesday. Other awards included for best developer, best development, best condo and best villa development for every country in the region, as well as awards for best architectural and interior design and a green development award.
Lippo Karawaci, the developer of St. Moritz, was honored as the Best Developer in Indonesia. St. Moritz Penthouses and Residences offers five apartment and condominium classes. They are The Royal Suite Tower, The Ambassador Suite Tower, The Presidential Suite Tower, The New Royal Suite Tower and The New Ambassador Suite Tower.
Lippo said apartments in three of those classes (The Royal Suite Tower, The Ambassador Suite Tower and The Presidential Suite Tower) had sold out in a short period.
Lippo Karawaci is affiliated with the Jakarta Globe through Lippo Group, which owns both. It is the country’s biggest listed property developer with interests in housing, retail, hospitals, hotels and assets management.
