Pemerintah Indonesia telah lama menyadari pentingnya investasi di bidang infrastuctur untuk pertumbuhan berkelanjutan sebagai salah satu cara mengatasi masalah pengagguran dan kemiskinan. Dua pertiga dari total investasi tersebut diharapkan berasal dari sektor swasta, sehubungan dengan terbatasnya dana pemerintah yang juga sangat dibutuhkan untuk membiayai sektor ekonomi lainnya. Wlaupun ekonomi makro tumbuh stabil dalam kurun waktu lima tahun terakhir , dengan tingkat pertumbuhan hampir 6.0%, pertumbuhan ekonomi yang lebih besar sangat diperlukan guna mengurangi jumlah pengagguran dan membuka lapangan kerja untuk mengatasi lonjakan pasar tenaga kerja, yang meningkat sebesar 2.5 juta pertahun

Response by the private sector,however, has been
slow because the regulatory structure, although
improving, is still inadequate to attract funding
from private sector sources. However, sign of improvement
are evident in certain ares of the infrastructure

Infrastructure didirikan pada tahun lalu melalui
penggabungan usaha dengan sebuah perusahaan
investasi, yaitu PT.Nusantara Kontruksi Indonesia.
Fokus Perseroan adalah berperan aktif dalam
investasi infrastruktur dan proyek energi
terkait lainnya. Perseroan saat ini aktif
dalam mencari dan memperluas peluang usaha
di sektor jalan tol, pengolahan air bersih
dan kegiatan usaha hulu di sektor energi,
dan baru-baru ini mendapatkan pendanaan untuk
melaksanakan kontruksi Jalan Tol, Makassar
Seksi IV di Sulawesi Selatan, yang merupakan
portofolio kedua di sektor jalan tol. Konstruksi
Jalan Tol Makassar Seksi IV akan dimulai dalam
waktu dekat. |

last year through a merger with an investment
company. PT.Nusantara Kontruksi Indonesia.
The Focus of the company is to play a major
part in investing in infrastructure and
related energy projects. It is currently
active in seeking and secured the funding
for the construction of the Makassar Section
IV Toll Road in South Sulawesi, the second
toll road in its portfolio. The construction
of Makassar Section IV will be commenced
shortly.
