A Proud History
The Company has undergone several major changes to reach its current position.
As a pioneer of private sector participation in infrastructure development in Indonesia, PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk (the Company) will continue to invest in toll roads in Indonesia while looking for further investment opportunities in other infrastructure sectors.
1995
The Company was established under the name of PT Sawitia Bersama Darma, based under Notarial Deed No. 3, dated 1 September 1995, and presented before a notary in Jakarta.
2001
Changed the Company’s name to PT Wahana Tradindo Jaya. The second amendment to the Company’s Articles of Association was based on Notarial Deed No. 4, dated 6 February 2001, and presented before a notary in Jakarta.
2006
Concluded merger with PT Nusantara Konstruksi Indonesia, and based on Deed No. 59, dated 21 June 2006, presented before a notary in Jakarta, altered the Company’s name to PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk.
2007
Laid the cornerstone for the construction of Toll Road Section IV (JTSE) in Makassar.
2008
JTSE, Makassar, commenced operations. Of the several concessions awarded to various investors at the 2005 Infrastructure Summit, this was the only project that has been realized till date.
2010
• The Company raised fresh funds through the issuance of preemptive rights in the amount of Rp 745.9 billion.
• Acquired 99.99% shares of PT Marga Utama Nusantara (MUN) which owned 25% of JLB.
• Rajawali Corpora acquired 23.6% of the Company’s shares. This reflected the Company’s potential for further business growth through the opportunities available under the PPP scheme.
