Nusantara Infrastructure Leadership

PT Nusantara Infrastructure, Tbk continue to expand its interest in the toll road sector, and intends to seek further opportunities and investment in the sector. Throughout the year the Company was responsible for four links in Makassar - the busy offshoot from the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) and the new 8 km link due to open as part of JORR, Jakarta Lingkar Barat.

With governmental actions towards easing the process of land acquisition, including the first tests of the revolving fund, it is expected that the long-delayed programme of building the toll road network for the country, particularly in Java, will progress faster. There is a target to complete a further 887 km of toll road sections over the forthcoming 5 years. Some further urban links, such as for the city of Jakarta, are also mooted. The Company will be actively seeking the opportunity to increase its holdings within these programmes for expansion of the network. It will also review any suitable opportunities that should arise in other infrastructure sectors.
